The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the age of 54 years. Beloved husband of Joanne (née Nadon) Labre of Hanmer. Son of the late Alphonse and of the late Thérèse (née Carrière) Labre. Loving father of Samantha Nadon-Labre of Sudbury, Stephen Labre (Samantha) of Hanmer, and Tyler Labre (Tyanna) of Val Caron. Dear brother of Shirley Melanson (Ron) of Orangeville, Marie Halman (Bob) of Hanmer, Brian Labre (Colette) of Capreol and Claude Labre (late Florestine) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brother Ron. Cherished grandfather of Nova, Adelynn, Braelynn and Everly. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins and friends. Dan was known to be cruising around in his Chevy truck and bright orange El Camino. He loved being outdoors quadding, fishing and hanging out at Tim Hortons. Dan also loved plowing in the winters for the few clients he had yearly. He still went out to take care of his driveways, no matter how sick he was because he enjoyed it so much. The rest of his time was spent cherishing his four beloved granddaughters and family.
