The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Wife of the late Marcel Laviolette. Daughter of the late Ludger and the late Lea (née Trottier) Simon. Loving mother of Nicole Desroches (Georges), Joanne Borgogelli (Cesare), Linette Zelinsky (Peter), Judith Hudder (Gerard), John (Nancy), and Louise Beaulieu (Charles). Dear sister of Lea Rochon (late Earl) and Jeanne Armstrong. Predeceased by her siblings Arthur Simon, Aurore Plante, Alice Lavallée (Bob), Melina Labelle, Udger and Julienne Grenier. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 1- 4:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel.
