Condolence: David was truly a compassionate and caring person who always put other people's needs first. I got to know David through work and he was always very supportive and a great listener. He will be truly missed.

Condolence: David has been a colleague of mine for a number of years and while our positions are meant to be adversarial, you could not help but be inspired by David Plante. He was a tireless crusader of the poor and marginalized and was kind and respectful to all. Even as I write this tribute my heart hurts. Rest Easy my friend, your selflessness will not be forgotten.
