Noel, Eveline (née Brideau)
Eveline of Sudbury died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of Sylvio Noel, predeceased in 1988. Daughter of the late Benoit and the late Flora (née Bourdage) Brideau. Predeceased by her siblings Cécile Comeau, Yvonne Sonier, Gérard, Léonel, Edgar, Gilbert, Nérée and Médore. Born in Tracadie, New Brunswick, she came to Sudbury as a young woman looking for work and found the love of her life, Sylvio Noel AKA George.
Eveline will be sadly missed by her six children, Ghislaine Labrecque (predeceased), Linda Kennedy (Scott), Don Noel, Jeannette Noel (Nicole), Monique Noel (Tammy) and André Noel (Lise) and her loving grand-children Sylvie (Eric) and Matthew Kennedy, France and Yves Labrecque, and Eric and Amy Barbe.
Eveline was a devoted camper and her Cranberry Lake camp brought her immense joy. She relaxed there by mowing her grass and caring for this cherished property. She was also a very skilled cook and baker and her blueberry cake and caramel sauce never failed to get rave reviews from her family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, July 26, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation can be made by cheque or online. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
