Condolence From: Lucie Lalande
Condolence: Laurier's colleagues at RTO/ERO(Retired Teachers of Ontario/Les enseignants(es)retraités de l'Ontario)send their condolences. We know that your best comfort will come from the telling of his life's stories by those who knew the joy of his presence in their lives, including his students and staff members. Laurier's name has been added to our In Memoriam. He will be remembered at our next meeting and a donation will be made to the Elgin Street Mission in memory of Laurier Charette.

Condolence: Mr. Charette was my favourite teacher...French was fun and something I looked forward to the years I was his student. Our trip to Expo '67 with both of you, is something I continue to talk about.
Sincere sympathy to each of you...may your memories comfort and strengthen each of you at this very difficult time and in the months and years ahead.

Condolence: We were so sad to hear of Laurier's death. He leaves so many grand memories...his laugh, his joie de vivre, his compassion, his willingness to stop and to listen. Have no fear we will all be together with the Father in the heaven He promised. Dear Yvette and family we hold all of you up to the Lord in our prayers.

Condolence: My condolences to all the family on the loss of someone so special. I loved learning French with Mr. Charette - he made it so much fun! Then, as a colleague, I remember his eagerness to share a joke and his gentle, supportive nature. It was my great pleasure to know him and call him friend. May your cherished memories give you peace in this difficult time.
