Peacefully passed away with his family by his side in Sudbury on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Son of the late Hormidas Gervais and late Elsie (née Tremblay). Beloved husband of 65 years to Denise Gervais (née Dorion). Loving father of Richard (Monique), Gerry (Marlene), Michel (friend Marnie), Denis, Colette (Rob) and Joanne (Jason). Cherished Pépère of Ricky jr., Eric, Ricky, Rachel, Stéphanie, Tanya, Michelle, Angelica, André, Alex, Anthony and Jorrey. Great-grandfather of Jack, Oliver, Logan, Ellie-Anne, Brianna, Liam, Austin, Layla, Mason, Stephanie, Maxim, Olivier, Zakkary, Samantha and Charlie-Rose. Sadly missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Leonard was a proud mechanic at Inco for 36 years. His passion was music and painting. He will be remembered for his sense of humor. In keeping with Leonard’s wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held on June 8, 2019.
