Obituary for Hannelie "Hanni" Kuhle

Hannelie "Hanni" Kuhle
Hannelie (Hanni) Kuhle passed away peacefully June 10, 2022 at the age of 87. She is loved and missed by her husband of 62 years Helmut (Joe). She was very special to her daughter Birgit and son-in-law Kevin whom she adored, while happily becoming Oma to Kevin's children Seraphina and Cadan. She was sadly departed from her son Joey (predeceased) many years ago. Her sister Ursule (Reinhardt) and her children Reiner (Robin and Alyssa) and Karin (Nick, Sasha and Gabe) were a wonderful part of her life. Her brother Franz (Waltraud) of Germany will also miss her. And she can now join Hubert (brother) and Alice in Heaven.

Her extended family was very important to her including Bärbel and Ernst, Ernie (Denese), Iris and Bruce and their kids and the many other Sudbury Germans that became an important part of her life.

Hanni was born in Germany but followed the love of her life to Windy Lake where she helped him build their home surrounded by nature and her beautiful garden. They loved to travel and explored the world together from Hawaii to Thailand to Australia to Egypt and so on while often returning to their homeland of Germany. Having trained as a tailor in Germany (where she met her future husband) you could give her almost anything to sew and she would do so happily.

Thank you to the wonderful staff of St. Gabriel's Villa in Chelmsford. Although she was only with you briefly, we know she was well taken care of and cared for all of you.

Celebration of Life for Hannelie Kuhle Sunday, September 11, 2022, 12-4 p.m. Fielding Memorial Park Hall, 345 Fielding Rd, Copper Cliff.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Villa St Gabriel or the Alzheimer's Society are appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
