GAREAU, Sir Knight Victor
It is with great sadness and a lifetime of memories held dearly in their hearts the family announces his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Denise (née Paré) Gareau of Sudbury. Son of late Léon and late Justine (née Dupuis) Gareau. Loving father of Dr. Marc Gareau (Nicole Bigras) and Luc Gareau. Dear brother of Gertrude Hamilton (Rene), late Lilliane Richer (late Joseph), Pauline Gareau, Florence Schryer Lalonde (Michel) and Anita Garito (Jim). Cherished grandfather of Philippe and Mathieu Gareau. Victor was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree council 9619 and 4th degree council 2633, Mgr. Roger Despatie Assembly. The family thanks all the individuals and agencies that were instrumental in Victor’s care with particular thanks to Dr.Jonathan Noble oncologist, Dr.David Andrew Want radiation oncologist, Dr.Lynn Boissonnault his family doctor, and all the nurses of Bayshore. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday, June 6th, 2019 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, June 7th, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
