It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Eugène and late Irène (née Vaillancourt) Villeneuve. Predeceased by her husband Gérard Joliat in 2007. Loving mother of Yvan Joliat (Bonnie) and Michel Joliat (Darlene). Cherished grandmother of Gary (Sarah), Kelsey et Adrien. Great-grandmother of Ezra. Dear sister of Claire Gernat (late Joe). Predeceased by her sisters Rita (late Marcel), Antonine (late Lionel), Thérèse (late Marcel), Georgette and brothers Gérard (late Jeanne), Lucien (late Gilberte), Laurent, Eddy (late Lucille) and Cyril (late Cécile). Rolande’s pride and joy in life was her family. Her passion was her trailer and camping in both French River and Vermillion Lake where she always had a supply of pop, chips and chocolate bars. She also enjoyed playing her favorite card game which was Skip Bo. In keeping with Rolande’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at 11 a.m. in St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
