LEVASSEUR, Carmen (née Soucey)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of 64 years to Edgar Levasseur, daughter of the late Hector and the late Eldridge (née Picard) Soucy. Loving mother of Linda Levasseur-Brosseau (Roger), Stella Tanguay, Joan Tranchemontagne (Normand) and Guy (Julie Frost). Cherished sister of Roseanne (Joel Chasse), Gerald (Cecile) and Rino (Rachel). Predeceased by her siblings Pierre (late Lorraine), Gerard (late Germaine), Lucien (late Annette), Leopaul (Georgette), Georgette Drouin (André), Claudette and Jean (Louise). Special grand-mother of Anique, Renée, Kim, Eric, Marc, Paul, Mathieu, Yves, Jessica and Carolynn and 18 great-grandchildren. Carmen will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Friday, September 27th, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda. The family wishes to thank the support staff and volunteers of Maison McCulloch, the Share Care team and PSW Naomi, Carole, Gisèle and Carmen for all you have done for our mother.
