Obituary for Joseph Isidore Lapierre

Joseph Isidore Lapierre
LAPIERRE, Joseph “Jos” Isidore
Huguette (née Levac) Lapierre announces with great sorrow the passing of the love of her life, Joseph “Jos” Isidore Lapierre, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the age of 82. Son of the late Armand and late Desneiges Lapierre. Dear brother of Murielle Tessier (late Armand), Jacinthe Dakin (Maurice), Yolande Giroux (late Jean), Solange Rochon (late Armand), Annette Lalonde (late Felix), Bernadette Prevost (late George), Johanne Lapierre, Léonie Bédard (Aldé), late Marianne Lapierre, Carmelle St-Louis (Laurier), Gaëtan Lapierre, Hélène Bertrand (Ronald) and Norman Lapierre (Peggy). “Now that I’m in heaven, I want to tell you that: I worked at Pioneer Manor for 35 years; I was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree, Council 9619, St-Dominique and 4th degree “Assemblé Roger Despatie”. I also enjoyed watching wrestling and sitting outside watching the cars go by. I really liked to sit around the fire pit laughing and joking with my 2 in-laws Raymond Levac (Myrna) and Denis Levac (Donna). Scotty you were a person who knew how to bring laughter and smile into my heart and all the dogs you brought home that was so great. Thank you, that was very special to me. Rolly and Jeannette McGraw, you were always there for me; helping with outside work and having long conversations leaning on the fence. To all my sisters and brothers and the in-laws, thank you for your love, help and the caring you gave to me. Love you all. I shall see you all in heaven. Pray with me, to the Virgin Mary and I will be with you all forever. Special thanks to 3rd floor ICU unit, Dr. T. Crichton, staff and all the other doctors who were there to help me out.” In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Dominique Church, Sudbury. Donations can be made by cheque or online to a charity of choice. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
