Obituary for Lizanne Pigeau

Lizanne Pigeau
PIGEAU, Lizanne
It is with very saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Lizanne Pigeau on Sunday, May 26, 2019. She was the cherished and much-loved daughter of Denis and Louise (née Gasparini) Pigeau. Dear sister of Phil (Karen) Pigeau, and aunt to Abby and Quinn Pigeau, whom she loved with all her heart. She is predeceased by her four grandparents, Pépère and Mémère, Larry and Alice (née Poulin) Pigeau, and her Nonno and Nonni, Leo and Simone (née Paquette) Gasparini. Lizanne was the first grandchild of Nonno and Nonni, and the first granddaughter of Pépère and Mémère; they all loved her so. Lizanne was known for her natural beauty, her beautiful green eyes, her infectious laugh, her caring nature, and her love of animals, especially her two fur babies, Beigey and Blackie, who were always by her side. She is loved and survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. She will always remain in our hearts as our free spirit. Special mention to her best friend, Leslie Slivinski, who was always there for her, and her wonderful, caring doctors, Dr. Stephanie Giroux, and Dr. Heather Boudreau. Lizanne lost her innocence at a very young age, which caused her many years of pain and suffering, anxiety, PTSD, and a multitude of stays in the hospital during her short life. She was a huge advocate of the MeToo movement which gives a voice to victims of sexual abuse and violence. In her memory and for victims of sexual abuse, donations can be made to Sudbury and Area Victim Services, or Voices for Women, Sudbury Sexual Assault Centre, or Pet Save. The family will receive friends at Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury, on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10 a.m., with a service at 11 a.m., and a reception to follow. Rest in peace our beautiful daughter as the pain and suffering are now over. Till we meet again in heaven Lee-Lee, Mom, Dad, Phil, Karen, Abby, and Quinn. We will miss you and always love you. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
