SOUTHWIND, Nicholas “Nick” (February 17, 1986-April 10th, 2019)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his sudden passing in Winnipeg, MB on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 at the age of 33 years. Cherished son of Joanne Owl (Allan Groulx) and Edward Southwind (Rachel Toulouse). Loving brother of Veronica (George), Elsa, Heidi (Billy), Cassandra, Katrina and Reuben (Maani). Predeceased by his brothers Jason, Clayton and Lance. Beloved godson of Sarah and Larry Assinewe. Loving grandson of Peter Buzwa, Vivian Owl (predeceased) and Henry and Elsie Southwind (both predeceased). Survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation at the Multi-Educational Centre, 4008 Espaniel St., Sagamok Anishnawbek on Monday April 15 and Tuesday April 16. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17th, at 1 p.m. at St. Raphael Spiritual Centre.
